Storage On Site began in 2006 when Toby Slodden founded the company to offer cost-effective, safe, and practical storage solutions. From humble beginnings, we've grown to provide a range of products, from storage units to turn-key government office spaces. Our mission is to quietly support the VI and look toward a future where we address the territory's housing shortage with modular housing solutions.

We’re here.  Our feet are on the ground, always ready whenever the Territory needs us.  We get things done.  Here are some of the things we’ve done for the Territory and some of the things we are passionately working to accomplish.

COVID was a crazy and uncertain time. Just like after IRMA and MARIA, Storage On Site did what it could to assist the Government of the Virgin Islands in providing stability and security to the people. We were contacted by the Center for Disease Control via the VI Department of Health with an urgent need to help procure and design mobile COVID testing laboratories built to medical standards for installation on St. Croix. We not only met this challenge by completing the project on time, we did it on budget and in a very challenging environment.

Our Values.

Storage On Site helps numerous local charities such as Catholic Charities and Rotary by offering reduced rates on rentals and donations.  We don’t make a fuss and have a big check signing with photos in the paper, we just quietly get to work and do our small part to support the real heroes of the Virgin Islands.

Our Goal.

We are keen to assist the territory in addressing the 5,000-unit shortage of affordable housing in the Territory by providing modular housing.  A member of our team is deeply committed to humanitarian work, having recently retired from stateside roles of trauma counselor/chaplain and grief counselor.  We’re anxious to pivot to this market segment with the help of this team member who is currently working to form a Territory wide coalition of 501c(3) entities who can access the funding necessary to build this kind of housing.  It is a dream but one we are committed to and continue to work on.  Let us know if you’re interested in helping make this dream come true.  This is a community effort.  “It takes a village.”  Particularly in the VI.
